E for Effort. And Elephants.
The attempt to revive the public's interest in circuses with Parker & Pestoff's Parachuting Instant Circus was doing
all right until Hurricane Isaias scattered the squad over three Louisiana parishes.
OK, took the parents to Costco yesterday. The single small display of festive ribbons has now morphed into a full rack of That Holiday (far too early to name it) stuff. There's also a Halloween setup and Sam Adams Oktoberfest beer. Even Kroger had a pumpkin head up, although the bees and sunflowers balloons are still up.
