Halloween lights.

👻👻👻🧛🧛🧛

She stood there bright as the moon in that broken old crypt
He was a midwestern spook on his own
She looked at him with those soft eyes, so hollow and black
He knew right then he was too far from home

He was too far from home

She took his hand and she led him along that graveyard hill
They watched the stones jumble on the dirt
They crept for miles and miles up those twisting turning paths
Higher and higher and higher they climbed

And those Halloween lights
In those Halloween hills
She was looking a fright
She was giving him chills

All those big spooky nights
In those dark rolling hills
Above all the lights
She had all of the skills

He'd headed west 'cause he felt that a change would do him good
See some old ghosts, good for the soul
She'd been reborn with a face that would let her get her way
He saw that face and he lost all control

He had lost all control

Night after night, day after day, it went on and on
Then came that evening, he rose up alone
He spent all night staring down at the pumpkin-shaped lights
Wondering if he could ever go home

That was Halloween lights
In those Halloween hills
It was looking so right
It was giving him chills

In those creepy black nights
In those high rolling hills
Above all the lights
With a passion that kills

All those Halloween lights
In those high rolling hills
Above all the lights
She had all undead skills

Halloween lights
Halloween hills
Above all the lights
Halloween lights

Oh, a poem. Hmm, spooky. Reminds me of Ray Bradbury. Yes, "and those Halloween lights... In those Hallow --- WHA ???" Spit Take! LOL
