A few years ago, I took my youngest son to a nearby Eat'N'Park, a longtime Pittsburgh area restaurant chain. The mascot, Smiley Cookie, was making a personal appearance. Kids got to draw a face (or whatever) on an unmarked cookie. My boy iced a face on his cookie and started crying. I asked what was wrong, and he confessed that he was afraid that Smiley might not like the face he drew on the cookie. Of course, Smiley doesn't judge. He likes whatever you put on the cookie!

This reminds me of something sad.
