I think that pretty much covers it. You left off "Single with B-side that has a song everyone forgot but the engineer who left the tape rolling during the drunken 3am recording session".
Oh how so very true. But the vinyl albums had great cover art. Less so on CDs. And now with streaming, et al., there is no album art. We are not better off in that regard.
